Spatial Dynamics of Monotone Evolution Systems With Applications
Prof. Xiaoqiang ZhaoMemorial University of Newfoundland, Canada 下午 3:00–3:50 鴻經館 107 室In this talk, I will first give a brief review on asymptotic speeds of spread (in short, spreading speeds), traveling waves, and global stability for evolution systems with monostable and bistable nonlinearities. Then I will present the mathematical theory of spreading speeds and traveling waves for monotone semiflows. Finally I will discuss its applications to some deterministic models on biological invasions and disease spread.
