Global existence and decay to equilibrium for some crystal surface and thin film models

In this talk we will review some global existence and decay to equilibrium result for some crystal surface and thin film models. In particular, we will prove that, under certain (explicit) size restriction in a critical (with regards to the scaling of the equation) spaces, the PDE admits a global solution and, furthermore, this solution decays to equilibrium.
