(almost) contact structures on G_2 manifolds
Dr. Hyunjoo Cho國家理論科學研究中心 下午 2:30–4:00 Hongjing Hall 107 室A 7-dimensional Riemannian manifold (M,\varphi) is called a G_2 manifold if it admits globally defined tensor(\varphi) which is parallel with respect to the Levi-Civita connection. In this talk I will first give introduction to G_2 structure, and then report recent research on the relations between G_2 and (almost) contact structure on (M,\varphi). This is a joint work with Firat Arikan and Sema Salur.
