The Canonical Height Functions for Monomial Maps

王季豪博士生中央大學數學系 下午 2:00–3:00 Hongjing Hall 107 室
The theory of canonical heights for a morphism is quite well known. For a dominant rational map, it is more difficult to define and study canonical height functions. Hence, we focus on monomial maps. We develop a new canonical height function for monomial maps. In certain cases, this new canonical height function has nice properties. For example, Northcott style finiteness property.
